What to know before treatment begins

Recovery Care takes all measures needed to protect your privacy.  Information cannot be disclosed without your written authorization.  However, a judge can demand access to a file.  Professionals are also obligated to release information if you are at risk of doing harm to yourself or others; or there are abuse issues involving a minor.

Before treatment begins, all necessary documentation will be emailed to you to review and send back (e.g., consent for treatment, and personal history).

Insurance receipts are provided and assistance is given to claim refunds owed (e.g., tax deduction).

When possible, payment methods are accommodated (e.g., e-transfers, pay pal, etc). Treatment service payments need to be sent before the session starts..  An invoice will be provided immediately.

To make life easier, you can book or change appointments on this site.  Cancellations of less than 24- hours notice, will be charged 50% of the fee.  A 100% of the fee will be charged if there is no cancellation notice provided.  

The benefit of virtual therapy is that you can have your session in a place that suits you. There is however, a process that occurs between sessions.  Experiential work is explored as an opportunity to implement what you are learning in session, to your life.
